The Round Mountain Volunteer Fire Department is a rural 4/6 ISO rated volunteer department established in 1983 and located approximately 5 miles outside of Fayetteville, just off Hwy 16 east.

Effective July 1, 2007 the RMFD joining fee will go up to $120. This fee includes a reflective address sign for your home. The yearly dues go up to $60 per year.
Effective March 1, 2007 the RMFD is a 4/6 ISO rated department.
