A membership to the Round Mountain Fire Department costs $120 initially (which covers your first years $60 also) and is $60 for each year after that, which is due in June.  Income from these fees provides safety and lifesaving equipment to our volunteer fire fighters and emergency medical personnel and maintenance for our equipment.  Our volunteers will be there to assist you in any emergency.  By becoming a member, you make sure they have the proper training and equipment to do that job.

New members will receive, as part of that joining fee, a red address sign with  reflective white numbers.  This makes finding the address easier for our first responders & fire fighters.  Existing members can purchase one of these signs for $10.  Signs can also be installed if you are unable to do it.  Just contact Shane Wood at 442-5700 for assistance. 

We hope that you will choose to become a member of our fire department and an active member of our community.  If you choose not to be a member, please be aware that we will charge a minimum fee of $500 to respond to a fire at your residence.  This fee can easily be avoided by keeping your membership with the fire department current.
